Performance
HUNTINGFIELD REBEL was broken and brought out by his purchaser as a foal, Deborah Paul and spent some time competing in BSJA with both Lionel Dunning and Louise McLachlan. He qualified for the Foxhunter Regional Finals as a 5 y.o. but was in Ireland during the Finals. He won nearly £500 in 2 abbreviated seasons then in Ireland with Dermott Lennon he went up into Grade C with only a few outings. In the show ring, he was Champion at the RDS in 1999 and a few days later he was Reserve Champion in the I.D. Performance Event. In 2001 he was the Champion Riding Horse at the I.D. National Show with a student. He has done a few Dressage Tests and has won twice, gaining 48 points, again in very few outings.

2006 Huntingfield Rebel him stamp his seal of excellence again and again, with his stock taking some of the most prestigious classes in the country. His daughter Oh Carolena became the Champion in the Young RID mare class in the RDS, and her foal became champion of her class and went on to become the All Ireland Foal Champion! Also in 2006 he became a sire of sires, when his son's Huntingfield Grey Man and Oh Carols Rebel became approved stallions.He also sired the UK Midlands eventing Champion” Fieldmouse 11” . 2006 saw his daughter Suma's Little Mo won the Novice Horse Section Carriage Driving at Kilcooley Abbey, showing the versatility of this stallion .

HUNTINGFIELD REBEL carries brilliant outcross genes, which are also totally free from Clydesdale or other cold bloodlines. On his sires side through the exported Glenagyle Rebel you have the unique Prince Henry line, also Rusheen Hero and Merrion, both very underrepresented in Irish Draughts. His dam, Whippy, who like his Grade A sire was vigorously performance tested carries the brilliant Blue Peter and Skylark lines. Whippy who won the Supreme Championship at the ID Nat. Show as a 16 yr old, has produced a multitude of Show champions and 6 registered jumpers. Her dam Softee, was the Masters horse until she was 10, only asked to breed alternate years.
